People, I am now DYING of curiosity.

What order did you read the Chronicles of Narnia? Because I read them in publication order (starting with LWW) and the set of books I grew up with numbered them in that order. But apparently nowadays they're selling them in chronological order? But I seriously cannot imagine reading The Magician's Nephew first? But maybe everyone does and I am just wrong to think that most people start with LWW?

I read all of them multiple times, but it was definitely Dawn Treader that I reread the most. The imagery is seared into my brain--falling through the painting, Eustace the dragon peeling off his skin, the star's daughter, the mermaid scene, the flowers on the water, Reepicheep going off in his boat to explore what's past the end of the world....

Though I will say, now that I think about it, the one I most want to reread is The Silver Chair, which, from my vaguer memories of it, I would guess was Tolkien's favorite. Heck, maybe I'll reread all of them!

Okay, I gotta know:

I use AO3 bookmarks to save my favorite fics--fics I want to reread, fics I think people who like my fic would also like, fics I recommend, etc.

I use the Mark for Later function to mark fics I want to read later.

And when I see someone else's bookmarks, I assume that they are saying "This fic is fantastic! You should read it!"

But apparently people use the bookmarks for things they want to read later? So they may not actually be recommending the fic in their bookmarks?

I still haven't watched any of this seaon's TVD yet, and I've been hearing very mixed things. So let's have a poll, shall we?

[Poll #1873358]

I decided to wait on Downton Abbey to see how the season would be, and now I'm SO GLAD I did because I know to definitely not watch it and now I am completely over that show. I'm kiiind of thinking of doing the same thing for TVD?

So lj’s been a little slow lately, and I haven’t been helping. But I just haven’t had much to say! Really! However, I feel a little guilty because for some reason I’ve got it into my head that part of my job in life is to ~entertain~ y’all. So let’s do one of those random poll things again, okay?
