I still haven't watched any of this seaon's TVD yet, and I've been hearing very mixed things. So let's have a poll, shall we?

I decided to wait on Downton Abbey to see how the season would be, and now I'm SO GLAD I did because I know to definitely not watch it and now I am completely over that show. I'm kiiind of thinking of doing the same thing for TVD?

Interesting! The thing I'd heard about it was that it was, and I quote, "shitty." Amazing how people have such different opinions. I guess I won't know which one I agree with unless I watch it, will I?

It's hard to say because it's so early into the season still. If it were just based on these two episodes, I'd say DEFINITELY because last night's ep was amazing. I'm leaning towards yes because it seems like Elena's becoming a vampire means that all her issues with Stefan must be brought to the forefront because they ~can't both be in denial. Elena can no longer be the Good Girl for Stefan, for everyone, and that means she can become aware of that and hopefully deal with Stefan in a way that acknowledges and prioritizes her own needs.

I feel like this second episode is one that folks have been waiting for since the show started losing it back in Season 3. And considering how well done it was, I have hope now for Season 4. But it's not a guarantee? Just, this second ep was incredibly reassuring, and the character arc for Elena seems to be in a place where it can help Stefan and Damon's characters also flourish, plus Caroline. Jury's still out on Bonnie, though Kat Graham's been saying good things about a Bonnie storyline this season.

Naaah, don't give up on TVD, I think it's actually doing great so far for the two episodes! I'm sure it's going to be great (like always)! Who do you like, Stelena or Delena? ^_^

Yesterday morning I would have said to hell with it, because 4x01 was basically useless. But 4x02 was easily the best episode since before Christmas last year. It could not have been more perfect to me. So there's only been 2 episodes so far? And I'm still a skeptic? But if they keep on like last night then there will be much celebration and gross sobbing in my corner of the world. :)

It looked like they might in 4.1 and then 4.2 there was stuff and now I'm not sure. Possible love geometry? (Which I love - but most people don't so...)

Only time will tell. They keep giving them scenes together as if to say "Don't FORGET" and it may be leading to something, it may not. I get the feeling the writers are keeping all their options open right now.
