Has anyone else started getting those spam-y grift-y "I like your writing, let me make art for you" messages here on DW??? I've gotten them on plenty of other sites (including FF.N, where my account is still apparently linked to my email address!) but I never thought to see them here!

Not yet. My old ff.net account has got them though. I'm not sure what their point is? (Not having examined them in detail before deleting them).

Ooh, a vaguely-worded PM makes more sense. I've only gotten the "I want to make art for this fic" ones so I was wondering how that would work on DW, since it would be quite unusual to be offered an illustration for a book review or a drama vent. (Though really, some people's DW posts kind of do deserve fanart... Particularly thinking that

rachelmanija's journal would offer some rich material here.)
