The first half of this was written...probably nearly a year ago now.  It was originally going to end darker than it did here, but I just couldn't do that to Logan.

So rosie1234 was talking about the movie 27 Dresses on her journal today, and it reminded me that even though I feel kind of lukewarm about that movie--chickflicks are not my movie of choice, and I didn't think it was an especially good one at any rate--it did have one of my favorite movie moments of the last year.

You know, the part where they're singing Elton John's "Bennie and the Jets" in the bar and they're singing the words completely wrong and they're drunk and it's awesome?

And then that got me to thinking of my favorite moments in (non-musical) movies that have my favorite musical moments.   The ones that I watch over and over again because they make me happy to be alive.  And then I thought I'd create my own meme and share them with you.
