+ So apparently last night's TVD pissed everyone off? I haven't seen it yet, but I'm bracing myself for it. Do y'all sometimes wonder why we watch this ridiculous excuse for a show? I often do, and then ever_neutral writes perfect meta and I suddenly have feelings all over the place and I remember.

+ In case you missed it (read: in case you're not on tumblr), Joe Dempsie is perfect, and I want to glomp him:




+ For snickfic's amusement: this thing has informed me that Lauren is made of kitty cats, cherries, and awkwardness. With a dash of porn. WITH A DASH OF PORN. I still need to steal your "I'm bored and your porn is boring" icon.

+ Love Rain continues to be so perfect I could die. This week's episodes were so unrelentingly adorable that I almost couldn't stand it. I expect the angst is coming soon, but I have high hopes of getting a happy ending for Joon and Ha Na, so I'm happy. If you need something to watch, you should high-tail it over to dramafever.com and watch the heck out of this show. These kids have faces and sometimes they put them together.



+ I will probably try to FINALLY watch some of Young Justice this weekend. I have to write my rarewomen fic, but I'm hoping to get into this show because I am overwhelmed with love for y'all's feels. You know how sometimes you love a thing because your friends love it but you really know nothing about it? That is how I feel about this show. I love it though I haven't seen it.

+ I dreamed I was Fox Mulder's assistant last night (I have no clue where Scully was). Which I guess is my subconscious telling me to finish that damn show.

+ All of my GoT feels continue to be about the Stark girls. And Oona Chaplin being flawless. When is The Hour coming back? I need more of it in my life.

+ I can't decide whether I love or hate y'all who have been reblogging quotes from 50 Shades of Grey all over my dash. On the one hand: so incredibly, ridiculously bad that it's hilarious. On the other hand, I can never erase those things from my mind. dollsome has noted (and is indeed correct) that the series seems to exactly reproduce the feel of the Twilight books (not to mention Bella's characterization) only now with 100% more pr0n. It's kind of amazing. AMAZINGLY BAD AND DISGUSTING. I feel sorry for the women who are so into this series because they don't realize there's better porn on the internet for free.

+ 60,000 words on the novel! Only about 20,000 more to go!

+ I realize that some of you might not be nerdfighters (though you totally should), so if you missed this video you should watch it now. I really feel like it's one of the best that Hank has ever made, and it's dripping with truth.

+ And another question: if I want to change the text on my journal so that all of it (in the entries/comments) is in a darker font so that I can read it a little better (I love the color scheme, but it does require some eye-straining), what code do I need to look for in the CSS? I've changed a few colors, I thought, but nothing seems to have changed, so I must be changing the wrong thing, I guess? Any thoughts?


+ snickfic's latest fic revived all of my Jo Harvelle feelings and now I want ALL the fic where Jo's interacting with Dean (shippy or non, I don't even care). Any recs, y'all?

So I'm just bopping along, minding my own business, watching The X-Files as I am wont to do these days (blame FMM, no duh!), and all of a sudden I had to pause it and run here and flail because A) I needed to get it out of my system, and B) y'all are the only people I know who might possibly not think I'm crazy for this level of excitement.

BUT OMG A VERY YOUNG MARK A. SHEPPARD IS IN THIS EPISODE AND HE IS SETTING PEOPLE ON FIRE WITH HIS MIND OR SOMETHING I DON'T EVEN KNOW.

People, you do not even know the depth of my love for this man. Like, he's tied with J.K. Simmons as my current favorite character actor (and Anna Maxwell-Martin, too, though she's been in less stuff and sometimes has leading-ish roles and such).

And I couldn't even decide what icon to use, he's been on so many of my shows! BSG? Firefly? Heck, he's been on Supernatural, and it's a good thing I don't have a Leverage icon (which, by the way, why don't I have an icon of Parker and Hardison? I mean, I kind of haven't watched the show at all this season, but WHO CARES. I still love them liek woah). I went with the Gaius/Six one because Gaius is awesome. And played by a British man. Yes.

Okay.

Now I'm going to...go watch the episode.
