I just watched Birds of Prey and I'm torn between being so sick of violence and really, really enjoying the characters and the aesthetic. Also when I first discovered Margot Robbie back on Pan Am, I did not know she would turn out to be as good of an actress as she is. It's a shame she won't get nominations for this movie because of the type of movie and performance it is, but she totally deserves it. She's really fantastic. And the female bonding took a while to show up, but when it did show up, I really, really enjoyed it. I'd love to see another Harley + Birds of Prey movie, especially if it involves Poison Ivy.

I would be very interested in reading some fic, especially if it's got all of the women hanging out together. So if anyone knows some good stuff, point me in that direction.
