Feb. 14th, 2020 06:35 pmToday I was suddenly overcome with an intense yearning for the glory days of livejournal icons. When people made the most beautiful little 100x100 works of art. And it was so exciting to see new posts in your favorite icon journals! And I paid all that money to have like 150 icons and I had one for every possible mood or interest! Oh halcyon days!
I looked back through a whole bunch of them I saved on my removable harddrive and was transported back. They really are as gorgeous as I remember. So I revived a few of those, made a bunch more and now I have icons here.
Of course now I want to get a paid account so I can have more icons. But I need to see if I'm actually going to use these like I used to before I go spending money on more.
(Did I do this instead of working on the aforementioned case study thingie? You bet I did.)
