I am eating leftover pizza at 11.30am because I woke up at 6.00, so that makes it lunchtime, right? I am supposed to be doing housework, but this poll is much more important, IMO. You have forced me to make some very difficult choices. Les Mis or SoM? Oh, the agony of decision making. Have to go with Julie Andrews because SoM is my happy movie - what I watch when I need cheering up.
Musical scene - 'Moses Supposes' from SITR is fabulous. But it still has to be the actual singing in the rain - not original, I know. I love the whole scene but the bit when he twirls around with the umbrella in the road - my FAVOURITE 10 seconds in all of movie history. Not sure why, but it lifts my heart every time.
LM Montgomery. I was SOOOO obsessed with her when I was a child, that and Narnia. But in the UK we did not have all of her books, at least not in my local library. Recently I have been reading a lot of them on my iPod because you can download them for free from Project Gutenberg (an amazing place to get books, btw). I still love her as much as I did when I was young.
Zombie apocalypse. Do you mean slow or fast ones? Fast ones are the thing that give me nightmares more than anything, except maybe clowns. I chose Buffy as I do not think I could ever vote against her in any poll, no matter what. Unless you were evil enough to pit her against Spike, but who could be that cruel? SitR has flawless dancing. So much joy! You really can’t go wrong with any of them.
