Much as I love Buffy and Dean, I'm going to have to go with River for the zombie Apocalypse. Someone who could shoot three kill shots in under two seconds is the sort you want to have around.
Definitely true. I do wonder if she'd crack under the pressure if it was over a sustained period of time? And Buffy's got the super-quick healing power, which River doesn't have. It's a toss-up for me.

I just finished three books of fabulous Atollia series after your rec! I am putting 'A Conspiracy of Kings' on my library list.

But Buffy doesn't use guns, so she'd have to decapitate zombies. Unless these are zombies you can kill with something other than a headshot.
For the last one, I went with Buffy... although I nearly chose River. In the end, I decided I'd rather have someone around who could kick butt, heal quickly and still have a coherent conversation with me!

Lauren, how could you make me choose between Florence Welch and Marina Diamandis? You terrible, terrible person. I ended up picking Marina because I'd just been watching "Oh No" on YouTube before I checked my flist, but it was a close race there. Also, I haven't listened to any Bats for Lashes songs aside from "Two Suns" and "Sleep Alone," but Sleep Alone is on my current writing playlist, so Natasha Khan cane third. West Side Story! It's my dad's favourite musical. The songs are all good, and the social commentary makes his inner sociology nerd happy. I think it's my favourite musical too, actually. Possible exception for Moulin Rouge.

I had a terrible time choosing between River/Doctor and Ben/Leslie, but I went with Ben/Leslie in the end because it's Thursday and my excitement is reaching epic levels. :)

Silly. Everyone knows the best dance scene in a musical is the "A Little Priest" sequence in Sweeney Todd. I clicked The Sound of Music simply because I think Christopher Plummer is wicked hot in that movie. (That's not weird, right?)
