First because I intensely dislike Allie's view of Buffy and always took solace in the fact that he was NOT part of the creative team. And Second because this is coming out of the left field, this sound like Joss handed in a script, Allie said but we need an answer for this this and that, please rewrite, and Joss said: "Avengers here, you rewrite, we share authorship."
That's pure speculation of course but why else would they not say that they are co authoring in the first place?
