Three Sentence Fic-a-Thon

Let's do this thing!

THE THREESentenceFIC-A-THON

In this challenge, you write a fic consisting of only three sentences in response to a prompt. All fandoms/characters/ships are welcome, and you can leave as many prompts and write as many fic as you like. Please leave only one prompt per comment, though there can be multiple fic "answers" to each prompt.

Format:

Fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence

Please go here for more in-depth instructions, examples, and to ask any questions or voice any concerns you may have.

Pimp far and wide, please! The more participants, the more fic! And if someone wants to whip up a banner or something, that would be great!

Go forth and fic!

Dollhouse - Alpha - lapsed

He spends so much time explaining himself these days, maybe he should just have some cards printed - Alpha: Jack of All Trades, Professional Psycho (Lapsed). He doubts it would help his case, though - these folks have witnessed enough of his dark deeds to last them a lifetime, have suffered more damage than any one person can hope to repair, so he doesn't blame them for flinching whenever he enters the room.

When Echo asks him why he stays, he says it's to be useful, but that's only half true: he stays because these people remind him of how far he's come, and because they make it clear to him how far he still has left to go.

So, I dunno if you meant to include a Graveyard Book reference or not, but either way, this? Is absolutely awesomazing.

Ooh, very interesting! Of all the missing, implied bits of Epitaph Two, Alpha's off-screen arc is the one that interests me the most. And the business card bit amuses me. :)

Thank you!
