Three Sentence Fic-a-Thon

Let's do this thing!

THE THREESentenceFIC-A-THON

In this challenge, you write a fic consisting of only three sentences in response to a prompt. All fandoms/characters/ships are welcome, and you can leave as many prompts and write as many fic as you like. Please leave only one prompt per comment, though there can be multiple fic "answers" to each prompt.

Format:

Fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence

Please go here for more in-depth instructions, examples, and to ask any questions or voice any concerns you may have.

Pimp far and wide, please! The more participants, the more fic! And if someone wants to whip up a banner or something, that would be great!

Go forth and fic!

"Real" doesn't always imply "solid" and anyway every time she stubs her toes or pinches herself or - just that one time - slides a blade through her skin, it's clear she's solid enough. And yet when she palms lipsticks from trays and bracelets from hangers, her confidence isn’t all shoplifters’ high; underneath sits the certainty that she is a little less than visible. Shadow to shadow she slips among the crowding unworrying people, every one of whom walks more heavily than she, all weighted with some essential concreteness she lacks.

I think Dawn may be my most writeable character in the Buffyverse - it's easy with her. I feel like I just get her, even though we're nothing alike.
