All fandoms/characters/ships are welcome, and you can leave as many prompts and write as many fic as you like. Please leave only one prompt per comment, though there can be multiple fic "answers" to each prompt.

Daddy always said a workman is only as good as his tools, and that the same went for cooking. There were Saturday afternoons when we would walk downtown, and he would stop and linger at the shop windows, just looking at those French copper pots all on display, gleaming all brassy in the sunshine. I'm gonna get me a set of those pots one day ...I think I'm almost there.

Angel the Series - Angel/Faith - pins and needles

Her breath is shaky and out-of-place; she hasn't let herself be unsure like this in months (except she always was, but enough of that). Angel looks at her with softness in his eyes and she doesn't understand how he can forgive her; and she doesn't understand how she is meant to do this without the blood of the innocent pooling at her feet - she is that far gone, why can't he see it?

But he doesn't see it, instead choosing to soothe the quake in her skin, by asking her to give him the blade she's holding - and she'll never know how she does.
