lirazel: An outdoor scene from the film Picnic at Hanging Rock ([dh] save victor)

Oh, and I almost forgot....

And one last thing--I'm ticked off that Joss still won't tell us Victor's real name! We know the real names for all the other Actives we really care about--Caroline, Madeleine, Priya--with the exception of Whiskey/Claire/whoever (but I'm cool with that, because I think that fits her characterization at this point), but no Victor! At that one point (you know which one I'm talking about), I really thought Topher would say it. But alas. No name for me.

Mr. Whedon, it is absolutely essential to my fic-writing abilities that you tell me what his name is. Now.

iawtc--I think Echo is a necessary character, as far as providing impetus and forcing change, and all, but she's way more interesting in *that* role than she is as the only main character who has some backup. I like her plot-wise more than I do character-wise, which is interesting for me (I almost always like the main character best), but there's a way more awesome ensemble "backup" than Caroline/Echo. Plus, Caroline is whiny and self-righteous, so it's better to have her in small doses :P

I definitely think Echo is going to be pushing at Victor/Sierra to become more self-aware. They aren't supposed to be able to fall in love (which makes me bite their nails for what happens when The Dollhouse finds out about *that*), so Echo will probably take advantage of that.

*crosses her fingers* Victor-centric episode, definitely! The longer they hold out, the more I think it might be a Reveal (although, they are smoothing out into ensemble in s2, so maybe it's just getting away from Echo), or the root of some serious misjudgement. I sort of wish I could write fic for this fandom, but it just doesn't come at all--too many unanswered, pertinent points. But they do seem to be bringing Victor's past in more, so I hope that (especially with that Senator Wesley running around) we'll get more on that soon.

That icon scene was *awesome*. Now, Adelle and Topher are always awesome (alone or together), but they were hysterical, too :D

I feel like I repeated myself a lot in this message. *hides* Sorry!
