I saw that on Whedonesque's twitter today and got SO EXCITED! I'm only six episodes into BSG, but I'll definitely be watching Caprica once it's airing (and I'm finished with BSG, of course). Jaaaaames. ♥_♥

The pilot had potential, I thought. It didn't suck me in or knock my socks off, but there are some places they can go with it that I think could be really interesting. Plus: JAMES! And also Jane Espenson writing for it. Double win.

Also, quite beyond that, you should watch it. I just saw the extended pilot and loved it. (But then, I am a huge BSG fan, so: grain of salt.)

Isn't it awesome how his mere presence demands that we watch it?

I loved BSG so hardcore for the first two seasons, liked it during the third, and thought it turned into a mess during the fourth. It's the way it broke down that made me reluctant to watch this one, unfortunately.

I just saw the pilot myself. I didn't love, but there was some cool stuff there (ADAMAS IN THE MAFIA, YES PLEASE), plus I thought it had a ton of potential to be really awesome. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes on it.

I pretty much feel the exact same way you do about BSG and Caprica but was too lazy to type it up early and am way too busy with my first day of college to say anything else now except YES, WORD and xoxoxox! :)
