There is no reason for this fic to exist except that I love Spike and I love Cordy and I was always incredibly depressed that we never really got to see them interact. And that it's my day for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
spring_of_cordy and this has been sitting on my harddrive half finished for a while. I don't know that I did it justice, but it was worth it to me to have these two alone in a room for a little while.

A/N: Realistically, there probably wouldn’t have been time for these two to have this conversation. But I couldn’t resist the idea of my two favorite characters interacting a little more, especially when I see more similarities between them every time I think about them. So let’s squeeze this scene into “You’re Welcome” in between Angel defeating Lindsey and the gang kicking out Eve/deciding to go out for drinks.
Summary: The not-so-original vampire-with-a-soul and the cheerleader-turned-vision girl flirt, snark, spill, and discover they have a few things in common.
