So I'm getting ready to read all of y'all's thoughts on last night's TVD (in scanning my flist, I saw about 8 reaction posts. Which makes me laugh), but I just have one thing to say about it myself.

WHAT THE HELL WHY DID STEFAN NOT AT LEAST UNDO ELENA'S SEATBELT BEFORE SAVING MATT??????????? SHE COULD HAVE BEEN IN THE PROCESS OF SAVING HERSELF TILL HE GOT BACK. WHAT IS THIS???????????? THAT IS SERIOUSLY ONE OF THE STUPIDEST THINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN AND I HATE THIS KIND OF STUPIDITY. I'VE SAID IT BEFORE AND I'LL SAY IT AGAIN: IF YOUR PLOT REQUIRES PEOPLE TO ACT LIKE IDIOTS, THEN IT IS A BAD PLOT.

THERE IS NO REASON SHE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET TO THE SURFACE AND JUST NOT MADE IT IN TIME. AT LEAST THEN SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN ACTIVE. UGH I CANNOT WITH YOU SHOW.

I APPROVE OF THIS CAPSLOCKED POST AND LOLOLOL, YOU KNOW THE SHOW ALSO LITERALIZED EVERY SINGLE METAPHORICAL CONCEPT WHEN ELENA HAD TO ~CHOOSE WHICH SIDE TO GO AND ACTUALLY HAD MET DAMON FIRST (how many people do you think have said "if we met first then maybe" just to let someone down gently and then THEY HAD MET FIRST, SO OBV YOU NOW LOVE ME, RIGHT?)

But that seatbelt thing. Never getting over it tbh. I tried to be all ~squee about the episode, but then the general stupidity made my head ache so I went back with a sledgehammer, hee

(But seriously, the biggest question to ask of this season is-- WHY ARE THE SALVATORES STILL ALIVE SRSLY. The Originals were all like 'lalalala, you're trying to kill us and actually kind of succeeding, how cute, we'll just skip town or torture you or hit you with baseball bats' and Evilaric didn't kill these guys either. Like BAD PLOT MUCH, show?)
