So I'm getting ready to read all of y'all's thoughts on last night's TVD (in scanning my flist, I saw about 8 reaction posts. Which makes me laugh), but I just have one thing to say about it myself.

WHAT THE HELL WHY DID STEFAN NOT AT LEAST UNDO ELENA'S SEATBELT BEFORE SAVING MATT??????????? SHE COULD HAVE BEEN IN THE PROCESS OF SAVING HERSELF TILL HE GOT BACK. WHAT IS THIS???????????? THAT IS SERIOUSLY ONE OF THE STUPIDEST THINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN AND I HATE THIS KIND OF STUPIDITY. I'VE SAID IT BEFORE AND I'LL SAY IT AGAIN: IF YOUR PLOT REQUIRES PEOPLE TO ACT LIKE IDIOTS, THEN IT IS A BAD PLOT.

THERE IS NO REASON SHE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET TO THE SURFACE AND JUST NOT MADE IT IN TIME. AT LEAST THEN SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN ACTIVE. UGH I CANNOT WITH YOU SHOW.

LOL, last night was fun. I feel like I got through all of my issues on Tumblr with you and a few others.

It was just like, okay, I get you want Elena to turn. But there are so many errors with that scene. COME TO THINK OF IT, WHY DIDN'T SHE PULL HER OWN SEAT BELT OFF? She totally had time. It could have been a simple fix, have it jammed or something. But noooooo.

Team Elena wakes up with some massive PTSD as a vampire and tells everyone to go screw themselves except Jeremy.

It was fun. I usually don't end up watching the episode till Friday night, but I am really glad I watched it last night.

All they had to do was have one shot of her struggling to get the seatbelt off and not being able to. ONE SHOT.

I just hope that this back-from-the-dead (kinda) plotline works as well as Buffy S6. If it does, I'm gonna be thrilled. Clean slate, show! Let's be a little less of a hot mess than this half of this season has been!

Oh man do I want to write fic of it now of her basically locking herself in the Gilbert home. Confused and like maybe after some time Caroline helps her adjust. And she gets angry at Damon for lying to her. And she talks to Stefan about the crap that went down.
