Every single thing about the scene just made me so incredibly frustrated at the stupidity. Which is not the feeling you want your viewers to have while they're watching a scene like that. It made me so mad that it kicked me right out of the show--I was mad at the stupidity of the writers, not of the characters. When the show forces me into a Doylist pov, I resent it.
