oh, i meant to tell y'all!

The Lil Sis has started watching Supernatural, which amuses me greatly. I asked her for her feelings and she said, "Eh. It's okay. The guy who wasn't Dean on Gilmore Girls is hot." You can see why I'm in fandom and she's not, I suppose. She's only a few episodes in, but I will totally keep you updated if she has any entertaining thoughts on the show. I hope she does.

I quit watching GG before the Dean character was introduced so I have no problem with the name.

Also, I found out over the holidays that my sister watched a Walking Dead marathon on AMC and watches the show now. I can't even tell you how very weird it is to me to have actual people in real life to discuss tv with.

Wow! You must have only watched like half of one season! I thought Dean showed up in S1!

Isn't it strange?

That's about right. I stopped watching Dawson's Creek at right about half the first season too. Angsty teen drama, not really my thing.

It is strange. I watch things most of my family does not; additionally, the programs that they watch bore me to tears. So yeah. Strange.

I used to talk to my dad for hours on end about movies we'd watched but our tv viewing habits were very different. I tried to get him to watch BtVS but he just couldn't get into it.

About the last way I'd describe Gilmore Girls is as an angsty teen drama, but to each their own.

Me, too. My daddy and I watch a lot of the same movies, too, but yeah, our TV habits are very different.
