hey y'all! *waves frantically*
I am back from vacation! And while it's nice to be home with my bed and my internet and my TV shows, it's also cold here and I do not like that one little bit after a week of lovely warm weather (on the upside: I don't have to slather on sunscreen in the mornings now. I managed not to burn! Just some freckles! Yay me!).
I had a very good time with my family and renewed my devotion to EPCOT. Harry Potter World is smaller than I thought it would be, but what's there is absolutely adorable. (Lil Sis is upset they don't make everyone wear robes when you go inside 'because then it would feel like you really are in Diagon Alley!') I thought of all of y'all while I was there. I seem to have developed planatar fasciitis over the course of the trip, which is NOT fun, but I'm hoping it'll heal up soon. Other than that, it was a great trip. :D
I read a couple of books on the drive back and forth and ended up sobbing my eyes out in the back seat of the car over Code Name Verity and getting teased by my dad about it. And I now have about 10K words of Infinite Star Trek AU fic because this is my life now. I'm all caught up on School 2013 for the new episode tonight and I can't remember the last time I watched something that put my heart through the wringer EVERY EPISODE like this. I watched White Christmas (the kdrama) over Christmas break and LOVEDLOVEDLOVED it (expect a rec post soon). My husband Dongwoo has pink hair and is starring in music videos with Hoya and being irresistible. And...that's pretty much it with me.

Oh, I've been planning to read Code Name Verity, I trust it's good?
I've seen some more of SUFBB while you were gone! I've seen up through episode 8 (because I read somewhere that episode 9 was angsty and I haven't been ~ready for angst) and I really really like it! I love Jihyuk and I'm so interested in what's going on with Hyunsoo (I had all of the feelings when he played with that finger and then blamed himself and then later when they all came home to him and did a pile on his bed. It was so wonderful) and I love Hajin and Kyungjong's epic bromance. Oh and I think I'm crushing a bit on Do Il, he's just so pretty! And so reasonable, when compared to the other ones, except for when it comes to Wookyung (I think that's her name?) where he should just confess his feelings NOW PLEASE. I don't have too many feelings about Su Ah yet, which saddens me because ladiiies, but I love that she gets to make so many of her own decisions and that she stands up to those girls at school. I figure I'll get more into her soon! Haha, sorry for rambling but I don't know anyone else who has seen it and I needed to talk about it!

IT IS SO GOOD. But not for the faint of heart. I don't cry much anymore because of my medication, but I was crying SO HARD over it. But it's excellent excellent. I really recommend it.

He's such a good one to crush on! Sweetness itself!

What I love about Su Ah is that she's quiet and sweet and usually those kinds of characters are doormats, but she isn't at all. She's got agency and does stand up for herself, if in a quiet way. I love that.

Of White Christmas or kdrama recs in general? Because I just can't seem to find any that intrigue me these days, so I'm hopelessly out of the loop of what kdramas people are freaking out about. Are there any? Either way, I look forward to the rec post.

The two best dramas I from last year that I saw were Shut Up Flower Boy Band and Reply 1997 (both of which people freaked out about). They're both a bit more serious than your average romantic comedy fare, but they both have flawless friendship and beautiful ships and heartbreaking angst and adorable hilarity and I cannot speak highly enough of both of them. I hear Faith (with Lee Min Ho) is fantastic, though I haven't watched but a few episodes yet. The best thing this year so far is School 2013 which is quite serious but lovely with some great character work and I think the whole internet's freaking out about it. I am about to start Flower Boy Next Door, which I think is much lighter, but has been getting some love, so I'll let you know about that one!

NEVER OVER THAT MOVE TBH! I love how it's looks so easy at first, but the more you look at it, the more you realize that this is the kind of move only very skilled dancer can pull off. It's the kind of move that needs so much swag that if you aren't a natural you look like a total weirdo and probably a stiff one too. IT LOOKS EFFORTLESS AND FUN. And as far as I'm concerned that's pretty genius, for two idols known for their A+ dancing (= you'd expect them to go batshit choreo maybe to make up for the fact that they lack talent in "X" or "Y", but they don't, they are laid back and cool and so so confident!!!! they are selling it AND I AM BUYING IT)
I cannot deal with my Hoya-feels. They are all-consuming. HELP ME. When did he get so fucking adorable and sexy and gah. THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR ME TO TAKE. I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THIS VIDEO. Like, even his ring looks so cool I want to own it. Also his hair. AND FOR CRYING OUT LOUD THE AWKWARDNESS. I AM SOBBING ON THE FLOOR IT IS SO PERFECT.
