this is just to say:

I have broken the half-a-million words archived on AO3 mark! 554,219 words, to be exact. I'm pretty excited about it BECAUSE THAT IS A LOT OF WORDS. A lot of novels that were never written because I was too busy with fanfic. I just...feel good about this.

Thank you! This is over the course of several years (the earliest thing I have archived is from March of 2006), but still! I'm happy with it!

HAHAHA YOUR ICON OMG.

You like? One of my favorite text icons ;).

March 2006? Hee, that's almost when I created my journal! You're smart to have all your stuff stashed together. I have mine things scattered over several places, so right now I have absolutely no idea how much I wrote ever since I started writing fic.

It's fantastic!

I didn't create mine till March of the following year, but I had a ff.net account! Ha!

Moving everything over to AO3 was a laborious task, but I feel like it was worth it. There are still a TON of little ficlets and fics I wrote back in the day that aren't very good that I haven't put over there, but I feel like it really is a good archive of my fannish fiction experience. I love being able to have everything in one place regardless of fandom/rating/etc., and it's pretty easy to use. Plus, the stats are fun to play with!
