LOVE TIME
First of all, thank you all so much for being so kind about my sister. You are all so lovely and generous with your compassion, and I really appreciate it. She's doing fine; sore and thirsty all the time and only sleeping on and off, but that's to be expected and will pass soon.
[Also, I know a few of you who know how much I love hugs and how much my sister hates it when anyone touches her and how much we battle over JUST GIVE ME A HUG DAMMIT!/NO I DON'T LIKE TO TOUCH PEOPLE GO AWAY!--we are basically Myungsoo and Yeoljong and I am Myungsoo omg how ridiculous is that--will get a kick out of this: she let me hug her the night before the surgery, in her words: "Just in case I die." THAT GIRL. Always the silliest. I love her a ridiculous amount.]
I always feel vaguely guilty about doing these things, like asking for people to say nice things to me? And then I get mad at myself because there is NO REASON that I shouldn't love to get compliments as much as I love to give them (which is a lot). So I'm doing it, guilt be damned. If you feel the ~spirit move you to leave me a message, do it. If you don't, don't do it. No guilt either way. No guilt. This is a no-guilt zone.

And my sister is totally the same way about hugs. She gives me one when we won't see each other for six months, because she feels obligated.
Haha, yes! When one of us has been out of the country for a while, I get hugs before depature and upon return. Other than that, it's like pulling teeth!

And mine would be TOTALLY GROSSED OUT by that!
I only see her once every couple of years and so puts up with a lot (like me pulling a Gyu and piling on top of her in order to wake her up, Insisting that we sleep in the same bed, and squishing her all the time) ... I can't Imagine what she'd do with me if we lived closer to each other.
