Picspam: Disney Ladies Casting

So a couple of weeks ago, Sadie and I were having a typically silly conversation about who has an excellent enough face to play Rapunzel in a live-action version of Tangled. And, being Sadie (aka: ridiculously ridiculous and evil), she challenged me to cast ALL the Disney ladies. "I don't even care about Disney that much!" I shouted. But the casting director in me got the better of me, and now here I am with the most random picspam ever.

This was fun but also challenging (especially finding someone who was actually Roma for Esmeralda, since I had dedicated myself to getting ethnicities right as well. Oh, also getting the right ages was hard at times as well, but this is fantasy anyways, so it's not like it matters). So...here we go.

*Before I get any slamming of Emmy Rossum, I need to say this: she absolutely can act. Just watch her in Shameless if you don't agree. Girl is awesome.

I'm going to slam Emmy Rossum anyways. It has nothing to do with her ability to act or not so, but the fact that Belle is my absolute favoite and Emmy has just always bothered me.

That being said, I love most of your other choices. Amber as Tiana! Dianna as Aurora! Emma as Cinderella! And Karen being the Little Mermaid might be the only thing to get me to rethink my hatred of that movie ever.

That being said, I'd love to see you cast the Disney princesses as well. If only because I like pretty people.

Shameless has made me adore Emmy, but I am inexplicably annoyed as heck by Anne Hathaway, who everybody else loves: we all have people who just bug us.

Karen is so lovable she can make anyone love anything!

I assume you mean princes? They would be much, much harder! I originally wanted to but then I was like THIS IS TOO HARD. I might have to revist at some point, though....
