because we all know that i live to ship

Comment with any ship (romantic or platonic or maybe even non-existent!) from a fandom that you know I have some knowledge about, and I will rant about aforementioned ship. This may be incoherent gushing or exclamations of disgust, depending on your ship of choice.

Caveat: If you say Buffy/Spike, I'm probably just going to link you to my manifesto.

My heeeeeeeeeart.

Okay, I know there's a lot of backlash against them, but I do not care. I love them. I love them when they're screwed up and dysfunctional and I love them when they're cute and domestic. I love them all the time. I understand Logan so much, which probably has a lot to do with it.

For one thing: CHEMISTRY. BANTER. PASSION-Y FIRE-Y FLAMES.

And I also think they do understand each other. They've shared so much: Lilly and Duncan are so formative for both of them. And I can never forget that they were friends pre-Lilly's death. I'd love to read a really good AU along the lines of Veronica's dream about a world where Lilly's still alive but Veronica ended up with Logan anyway.

On the other hand, they also can bring out the worst in each other. Veronica brings out Logan's overprotectiveness and violence and that makes Veronica shut down and withdraw emotionally. Not so good.

What I think is that they need to work on compromise. Because at this point they're going to keep clashing: Veronica's constantly throwing herself into danger and Logan can't handle that and she can't handle that he can't handle it and if they keep up like this it's just going to be an endless cycle.

I think they need to do a bit of growing up and then Logan needs to recognize that Veronica is the hero and that he can't protect her from everything, but Veronica needs to dial back her semi-death wish tendencies and be a little more careful. And if they do that, I think they could really work and be functional. Now, they'd probably still have Really! Big! Fights! but they're dramatic people. This is to be expected.

LOVE, basically.

Also: they have a lot of really good OTP scenes.

I heart them so much and this is totally why.
