sometimes i really hate people

popping in just for a sec (replies to other entry comments are forthcoming! i promise!) because i needed someone to complain to.

this review from ff.net just popped up in my inbox on a fic that i completed over four years ago. it's totally marked complete. and it was a collection of vignettes, anyways, so it wasn't like there was more of a plot that was needed.

When are you going to update? Honestly? There are people waiting, you know.
It's been ages too. So...why not update?

obviously i'm not going to dignify this with a response, but the entitlement here just makes me want to throttle someone.

seriously now?

OMG YOUR ICON LOL LOL LOL.

I know. The whole thing made me want to passively-aggressively send a link to my favorite Neil Gaiman blog entry accompanied by I AM NOT YOUR BITCH.

I love that icon. It's just too damn perfect sometimes.

Seriously, people, what is wrong with you? Write your own damn story.

This makes me insanely happy and I am bookmarking it like crazy. And I type that as a reader who still, to this day, wistfully wishes that Chase would finish "Thrall" and Mint Witch would finish "Avatar" and ColdCoffeeEyes would finish "Giving In." THEY OWE ME NOTHING.

People! Get a grip. (Not you, obvs, just ... people.)

Fun fact: the only thing more awesome than imagining "I'm not your bitch" spoken in Gaiman's sophisticated, clipped British English is imagining you say it, accent and sweet grin and hair and all.
