I think I'm gonna follow my heart and just cheer for Buffy like it's going out of style and I REFUSE TO LET IT.
Seriously, I'm already planning posts, arguments, what gifs to use, what vids to post (UM EVERYTING BY NVRBNKISST). Basically, I don't even care if she wins or not. I just want to represent with my love in the most vocal and possibly annoying way possible.

It's just that when it comes down to the character I love most, Buffy stan all the way. I mean, I was a huge Buffy stan last year when March Madness was going down and if anything, I've only come to love her more (esp. after my depression post). I think my love for her has become even more deep and personal. It's hard for new ladies to compete with Buffy for me because there's always these new depths and dimensions to my love for the Buffalo that I'm constantly discovering.

Basically it's FUN WITH BRACKETS. First you start out with all the different fandoms and let everybody vote who's going to represent each fandom. Then you have each character move through the brackets via voting, just like anything else involving brackets, usually. But the fun is that you campaign for your characters in the comments--gifs, capslocks, squee, ridiculous silliness. It's funfunfun.
You can go to the comm via the banner and go through the older posts to see what it's like. It's basically an excuse to be at your most fangirl obnoxious for a month.
Last year, we campaigned hard, AND BUFFY WON. It was a thing of beauty.
Ooh. Okay. I get it... and IT SOUNDS AWESOME. Maybe just because I looked at the bracket from last year and seeing Buffy take everyone out fills me with GLEE.
IT SO IS. Last year was flawless. Zero complaints. In the previous years, a guy always one--I think it had been Barney Stinson, Dean Winchester, and maybe Ten?--and we were like, "Forget this. A LADY WILL WIN." And it was Buffy and it was beautiful.
