I guess I'm alone in how I wasn't as impressed with Tangled as everyone else is. Mandy Moore has the slightest lisp that annoys me so I was taken out of the film a little too much, and the music wasn't as good as the Eisner-era hand drawn fare. It was cute, there were some exquisitely executed scenes, and I loved Flynn Rider, but I'd take Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, or The Little Mermaid over it any day.

You're probably at the movie now, anyway. So this does not matter.

I am THRILLED by your potential TWW gender swap. It's a show that I'm excited to see swapped, whereas something like Buffy doesn't need to be swapped because it already has such feminist gender bending credentials anyway. So that's my thought for the day.

I have Parks and Rec on my to-watch list after finishing Being Human, Downton Abbey and Miranda, so that's cool. And maybe the separation TVD and I have been going through since the romance died may be at an end? I'll check it out.

No, I was not that crazy about Tangled either. Or rather, I really really loved some parts, and others I really didn't. I also didn't find the music terribly impressive either.

I just watched it and all I could think during the big romantic WATCH THE LIGHTS scene was that they ripped off The Little Mermaid.
