OH TELEVISION!

PEOPLE!

SHERLOCK!

WATCH IT!

I was like this:

Photobucket

the entire time!

The only word for this is delightful!

Moffat, I want to have your babies!

WATCH IT WATCH IT EVERYONE!

Re: my last post: apparently, the position has been filled. SUCK. So, thanks for all your support, but that won't be my new job. *sigh*

I just downloaded the first ep! I'll definitely watch as soon as I can.

Boo! It's all about timing. So frustrating.

You will love it. When I heard about it, I was like, "Updating Sherlock Holmes? That really doesn't need to be done." But apparently it did need to be done, because it is delightful!

Worse still--they hired someone on Friday! So close!

Boo! Ah, well. There will be other jobs, I am sure. (And if not, I am prepared to do as much threatening as is necessary to MAKE IT HAPPEN. *bitchface*)

People keep talking about this Sherlock business. I will have to check it out in 3-5 years.

"Updating Sherlock Holmes?"

I'm pretty sure that was the original premise of House (House and Wilson = Holmes and Watson, a revelation that struck me so hard I still marvel over it. Even if the show now sucks.)

Because there should oly be a few episodes out by then, this will officially be my post-Who/Vampire Diaries show, then I'll move on to Being Human. I don't want to totally miss the happy flailing boat like I did with Eleven and series 5.

And you were obviously far too good for that job. *Insert patronizing "it wasn't meant to be" platitude of your choice here, then make it slightly snarky because it is, after all, coming from me.*

I'm in complete adoration too! Can't wait to watch thenew episode today!

This show is made of love. And I say this as a total Holmes nerd, there is so much stuff from the books in there and other than the latest movie (which I liked too but not nearly as much) they are not trying to remake House into Holmes again and action it up. They really capture the brilliance of the original in a modern setting.

Why oh why are there only three eps so far?

I am ashamed to admit I knew nothing about this Sherlock thing, but Moffat's there? I'M THERE.

Ahhh, I'm sorry about the job missing-out-on. A BETTER ONE WILL HAPPEN. ('Cause I say so.)

Well, shoot. But clearly, that was not the job for you, and now you get to find out which job is for you.

Have you considered tutoring freelance to fill in the gaps? I did that for a while and am planning on doing it again if I can't get something serious by the beginning of the school year.

LITERALLY SO FANTASTIC. I MEAN JUST RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. The 2nd ep isn't as flawless as the first (and the way Sarah is written just, argh, I hope you'll understand what I mean when you see it. Have you seen it? Let me know. I have thinky thoughts.)

:( Sorry about the job! If it helps I'm also looking for any kind of work and so far come up empty. Which sucks. So much.
