Dear British third of my flist,

QUIT TORTURING ME WITH YOUR SQUEE OVER HOW AWESOME THE NEW DOCTOR WHO EPISODE IS AND HOW AWESOME MATT SMITH IS AND HOW GENERALLY THRILLED YOU ARE.

Because my internet is slower than Christmas right now, and even though I already started downloading it, I'm not going to be able to watch it till tomorrow afternoon/evening, and I feel so left out! I am crying like Kelso in my moodtheme!

I've been downloading for two hours now, and I have 31% of one file downloaded. THERE ARE THREE FILES TO DOWNLOAD AFTER THAT.

I'm seriously planning to set my alarm to go off in the middle of the night so that I can get up and start another file dl.

What in the flying spuffy penguins are you downloading? 3 files? Why not one 700 mb file from megaupload. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CQ1UEX1Y

If your not on 56kb internet connection then you'll download the whole thing in 30 minutes tops. If it is your internet connection being an a**hole. Then it won't matter what you download it will take forever and a half anyways.

I'm doing it via mediafire because it's been working a lot better than megaupload recently for me.

There's no way it'll download in thirty minutes. Two weeks ago it would have. Now...it's going to take forever and a half anyways. But thank you!

Okay, how about an American adds to your torture? Because I just attended the US premier of #11 at WonderCon here in San Francisco, and my daughter informs me that we and the other 800 or so people there totally pwn the rest of you! Ha! Neener! MiAmor is now bummed out that he took one look at the line and decided to wait until it aired. We were under the impression it was going to be on tomorrow, but now he has to wait 2 weeks. Just imagine not rubbing his face in the total awesomeness for 2 more weeks! I hope it doesn't end in divorce. Heh.

And you guys get so many other shows way before we do. This is a very excellent point.

Mostly this post was written out of my extreme frustration with my internet. I don't know if it's the connection's fault or my computer's fault, but it's literally taking hours upon hours to download things that used to take twenty minutes, and I just don't understand why. It's driving me crazy, both because of the wait, and because I can't figure out why it's behaving this way.
