I will probably regularly be beseeching you to vote for my favorite characters. I don't even care. This is so ridiculous and silly and pointless, and I love it.

I also love it because it mocks all those (mostly) guys you know who spend all of March laboring over their brackets. Who wins that basketball game has the same amount of importance as this stuff does. Trufax.

VOTE FOR BUFFY. Seriously, Spike had his shot last year. It's my girl's turn.

Community - Abed. DUH! *movie reference here*
How I Met Your Mother - Ted Mosby. I don't even care. (Or Marshall *loves Marshall*)
Psych - Gus. Period.

Sci-Fi
Battlestar Galactica - Gaius Freakin' Baltar
Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Buffy Anne Summers. Patron Saint of Kick-Ass Women and Rocket Launchers. Unfortunately, I think she'll not make it through this voting round, and this is the one I really care about. We all know how I feel about Spike, but Buffy is my hero. VOTE BUFFY!
Doctor Who - Martha Jones. I've really been feeling the Martha love lately. A month ago it would have been Donna, but now it's Martha.
Dollhouse - Topher Brink. Sorry, Victor-my-love. Topher had a better arc.
Farscape - Aeryn Sun. Though I loooove John, too.
Firefly - Changed my vote to Zoe. BADASS.
Supernatural - Screw it. In an attempt to shut out Dean (who takes over EVERYTHING), I have voted for Castiel. Not because I particularly like Castiel. But because DEAN MUST NOT WIN.
True Blood - Jessica Hambly. Nobody's voting for my girl Jessica. Or my boy Hoyt. Or my other boy Jason. I am pleased about Lafayette being in second, though.

Teen
Friday Night Lights - Tami Taylor. My other hero.
Glee - Sue Sylvester. Because that's how Sue Cs it. Also: Kurt is pretty bad-ass, too.
Gossip Girl - Eric van der Woodsen. The only character who I still love without complaint.
Skins - Changed my vote to Michelle Richardson. Girl needs some love.
Veronica Mars - Veronica Mars. I loooove how Veronica is dominating her own category. No one else even has a chance!

Drama
Alias - Sydney Bristow. She kicks ass!
Gilmore Girls - Lane Kim I DON'T CARE.
Leverage - Parker is MADE OF AWESOME. But I'm thrilled that Hardison's in second.
Mad Men - Joan Holloway. I love me some Betty and Peggy and Sal, but Joan has the best chance of going far.

I was so torn in Spike versus Veronica. So. Torn. I don't even remember which one I voted for, because they are both loves of mine!

I totally voted for Buffy. In general, I voted for girls when it came down to a choice between a girl and a boy. Except for Farscape, where I voted for John (my favorite male character EVER), but I did it fully knowing that Aeryn is going to leave him in the dust. And should he actually close in and look like he's going to overtake her, I'm totally switching my vote to her. My character love: fickle and completely arbitrary.

Also, I voted for Castiel in the Supernatural category, just to see if we can't shut Dean out in the prelims. Otherwise, I fear he'll repeat last year's victory. (I haven't watched a single second of Supernatural since early season 2, so this was purely strategic.)

I'm still not through with Farscape yet, but I love John so much it's ridiculous. And Aeryn, too. But John may be my love.

I'm actually going back and changing my votes to more women. I think I'm gonna change my vote from Wash to Zoe and from Bobby to Bela. Although your Castiel strategy is a great one. I want different results this year.

I was so torn when it came to the West Wing because I love all those characters so much. Seriously, I didn't realize how I adored the entire cast until I was like but him and her and him and oh, oh I love her!
