Basically something might happen to him that will keep him in stasis for 80 years (I'm trying to be vague here, as I'm not sure how much you've seen). He gets super upset, because when he returms to regular life, everyone he knows will be dead. So he starts listing them: his dad, his bff, his sisters, Cameron Diaz--and then he gets really worked up--Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I may have squealed out loud.
I love crossovers and write ficlets often. I think this might actually happen at some point.
