Since nobody else on lj seems to be talking about it, I guess I'll bring it up:

Does anybody have some thoughts on the newly revealed Buffy comic covers*?

I am...slightly perturbed. And then angry at myself for caring. BUT I CAN'T HELP IT, DAMNIT! My face? Looked like Bob's in my moodtheme. Just like that. And in case you were wondering, it's not the possible revelation of the identity of Twilight that bothers me. It's the thing I refer to in my tags.... Although even though I'm not reading the comics, that would be a stupid, stupid revelation. Stupid.

Emmie? Hon? Wanna explain this one for me?

OK, let's start with me saying that I haven't read Season 8. I have the first part in my room somewhere, I think, but I never got around to reading it. My personal reasons being that I believe the show ended perfectly and I didn't need anything more from it.

Angel's a different matter, of course, but I haven't read those comics either.

So, my reaction to this? WHAT THE FLYING FUCK ARE PEOPLE DOING TO THE BUFFY VERSE?!?! I'm totally and utterly confused. Seriously.

(Although Dawn/Xander? Really? Awww. I never, never thought they would ever go there despite the tender moments they gave them in the show.)

Yeah, there's a lot of insanity going on in S8. And I actually think Angel-is-really-the-villain could work, but I doubt they'll do it the right way. *is skeptical*

I actually think Dawn/Xander could be super cute, but most people are all EWWW! about it. And I think there's quite a few hints in S7 that it could go that direction, too.
