lirazel: An outdoor scene from the film Picnic at Hanging Rock ([btvs] not happy)

Um...

Since nobody else on lj seems to be talking about it, I guess I'll bring it up:

Does anybody have some thoughts on the newly revealed Buffy comic covers*?

I am...slightly perturbed. And then angry at myself for caring. BUT I CAN'T HELP IT, DAMNIT! My face? Looked like Bob's in my moodtheme. Just like that. And in case you were wondering, it's not the possible revelation of the identity of Twilight that bothers me. It's the thing I refer to in my tags.... Although even though I'm not reading the comics, that would be a stupid, stupid revelation. Stupid.

Emmie? Hon? Wanna explain this one for me?

*spoilers liek woah

It's EPIC is what it is!

And yeah, I'm thinking it's like that, and that panel always cracks me up.l

Really? I think Xander and Dawn would work a thousand times better than Xander and Buffy. Plus, during my recent rewatch of S7, I saw that they were laying the ground work for Xander/Dawn even then. Personally, I think Dawn deserves better (and I aim to give her that!), but I don't think it's out of left field.

Just blame my weird feelings on me watching the The Adventures of Pete and Pete (Michelle was so gangly and small and cute!) at the same time they aired Buffy season 3 ;)

Plus, during my recent rewatch of S7, I saw that they were laying the ground work for Xander/Dawn even then.
Oh, I agree, it'd be more equal than Xander/Buffy

Are you talking about the Potential episode endingor are there other moments I didn't consider?

(Now I wonder if they'd already written Anya's death, if they were indeed writing scenes with Xander/Dawn in mind! )

Michelle is pretty much adorable. And it's not her fault that the writing for Dawn was so HORRIFICALLY AWFUL during her first season.

I don't know--there were just a lot of moments between Xander and Dawn (yeah, the "Potential" one in particular) that just seemed to be putting them on more equal footing.

We'll probably never know!
