Since nobody else on lj seems to be talking about it, I guess I'll bring it up:

Does anybody have some thoughts on the newly revealed Buffy comic covers*?

I am...slightly perturbed. And then angry at myself for caring. BUT I CAN'T HELP IT, DAMNIT! My face? Looked like Bob's in my moodtheme. Just like that. And in case you were wondering, it's not the possible revelation of the identity of Twilight that bothers me. It's the thing I refer to in my tags.... Although even though I'm not reading the comics, that would be a stupid, stupid revelation. Stupid.

Emmie? Hon? Wanna explain this one for me?

I try! I really try not to be one of those shippers! I do! But I can't help it!

Also, shipping aside, if that truly is the revelation, it's a dumb one, and I'm offended on behalf of the other side of the shipping debate.

Basically, it's offense all around!

It really is quite ridiculous.

Way to piss off your entire fanbase:
- the Buffy/Angel shippers will be annoyed if it turns out to be nothing (which it probably will)
- the Buffy/someone else shippers will be annoyed because of the Buffy/Angel
- the non-shippy people will be annoyed that there's so much comic devoted to the shipping...
