Yet another deadline...

So...this might be the excuse I've been waiting for to write that babyfic I've been meaning to get around to....

Day of Indulgence, right here. Write whatever the heck you want, without judgment. Check it out.

Also, I know I've got six zillion comments to reply to (and how much do I love how my super-angry post last night took off that way?), but it might be a bit before I do because MY SISTER'S GETTING BACK FROM EUROPE TONIGHT!!!! These have been a very long three months without her, and I expect over the next couple of days to be spending most of my time with her, so don't think I'm neglecting you: I just love her more. ;) But who knows; I may post seven drabbles tomorrow. We'll see. Fab prompts, people!

Also, this tag should have existed long, long ago.

Indeed! Nah, that's not her thing; she watches TV the opposite way I do: as a way of relaxing and not thinking too hard. Since she admits to this, I don't mind it, though it does mean that the only shows we watch together are That 70s Show and Gilmore Girls. Ha!

No! You should totally be excited about your fic! I was totally feeling the same way with L&B--I just wanted to flail about it! So I'm thrilled you're feeling like that, too.

the action is only getting started - get ready for epic Buffy kickass ridonculousness That is what I want to hear. That right there.

"And then she does this and this and Spike does this and omg they kickass!" If you did babble at me like this, I'd love it!

Buffy's gonna pull a School Hard and climb up into the ceiling rafters to get the jump on the soldiers who have them trapped in the bedroom. She's gonna be all heroic and distract them so Spike can get away with Faith. And the conflict is all leading towards this point where Buffy's mandate "don't kill humans" is put to the test. She's killed humans in the past mid-battle, but the recent way the world views Slayers makes her reluctant to go there ever again.

Here's a little snippet of stuff so far for funsies:

“Faith, fight. You hear me? You don’t get to die today.” She slapped her, too light to hurt a Slayer, but hard enough that it would have bruised a normal human being. “Faith.”

“Jeez, B,” Faith wheezed, eyes fluttering open to glare at her. “I can’t even get shot without you telling me I’m doing it wrong.”

“I’ll make you a deal,” Buffy said, voice wavering. “You don’t die on me and I’ll stop ordering you around.”

“Yeah, right,” Faith chortled, her laugh turning into a gasping cough.

And I'm also realizing that I have Buffy, Faith and Spike (my newly realized potential OT3) and so there's gonna be some snarking and joking from Faith and Spike in there, too.

OOH! FUN!

And I love the way you've written Faith and Buffy's relationship here! (SNARKY, SNARKY FUN!) I know I've said it before, but Faith on her own doesn't interest me all that much. But Faith interacting with Buffy? Fascinating stuff.

Yay!

Pshaw! And this is where I confess how when I write and I struggle, I think "why can't I write like Deird or Lauren?"

You guys are like my writing role models. *tear*

ETA: Especially considering how I can't spell. :D

I have a couple of people like that on my flist. And they probably have some on theirs...
Really, it's just one big circle with all of us envying each other. :)
