I never knew my verbosity went this far

So. Apparently, I have written so many fics that I can't fit them all in one sticky post. For some reason, this makes me depressed, maybe because of my inability to complete any of the novels I've been meaning to write for years (though! I'm super excited about the one I'm sort-of-kind-of working on! It's this Southern Gothic fantasy thing with ghosts and roadtrips and cousins and probably Civil War reenactors. And crazy, scary trees. Because I'm like that).

So I'm working on overhauling my Master List of Fics, and I'm thinking of putting drabbles and crossovers together in one post. Though I fear this will lead to them being neglected.

Anyways, because I should be working my Yuletide fic, and because I'm feeling kind of blah because it's dark and rainy and generally nasty outside, I need something to distract me.

So! Drabbles. Ficlets. Whatever you want to call them. I'm offering. Give me a fandom, a character/pairing, and a prompt. And this time, no Buffyverse stuff, please? Unless it's a crossover. Then it's acceptable. Things tend to skew heavily Buffy-wards with my flist, which is no surprise, but I want to branch out a bit right now.

Aaaand...GO!

May I ask - and this is me trying very hard to be non-manipulatory - how you feel about showing people your original work before it's done?

On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is "I would rather eat manticores dipped in peanut butter" and 10 is "possibly, if I were drunk enough"?

I do totally get if you're the private-writer sort of person - I am, most of the time. I do love reading WIPs, it's such a special feeling, but my abilities of concrit are patchy - I am honest about flaws I spot, but I'm not a flawspotty person by nature, and I squee often and loudly. I do have the uncanny ability to encyclopaedically memorise other people's characters though?

So this is an offer, not a request, and I sort of advise you against taking it, but, yeah. So. Can I see, can I see, can I see?

You were very good at the non-manipulatory-ness! Go you!

Well...I don't have much of it actually written now. I spend a lot of time planning things in my head, so it's barely moved passed that stage now. However, when I've got some more written, I might be willing to pass along some scenes and such to get your opinion, which I would value highly.

So, I would say on a scale of 1 to 10, it's probably a 4 for people in general but a 7 for you, and when I get more written...we shall see!
