So I've been watching Farscape for a while now, and I've enjoyed it from the beginning but I just finished "Out of Their Minds," and it's the first episode that made me flaily happy. I'm grinning sooooo big right now.
EVERYBODY SWITCHES BODIES. LOVELOVELOVE. And it might be more enjoyable than "Who Are You?" in BtVS S4 (even if it doesn't have all the meta stuff going on that makes Joss's shows so awesome). It's so ridiculously obvious how much fun all of the actors are having, and it makes me feel sorry for the actress who plays Zhaan, since she doesn't get to be in on the fun.
My favorite is John-in-Aeryn's-body, unzipping his/her shirt and shimmying! What a guy! And then Rygel's in her body and he's so over the top with the eating and the scowling! And Claudia Black is fabulous; if I didn't already have a massive girlcrush on her, I would after this episode. As Rygel-in-John's body, it's clear Ben Browder was all about hamming it up, and the way Chiana-in-D'Argo's body swings her body around? Hysterical. And I kind of love the big scary vulture aliens and their jello vomit.
Seriously, all the actors and puppeteers and voice actors are incredibly talented at being each other. They all nail every gesture and inflection It blows me away. And did I mention it's hilarious? I lovelovelove it.
AND THEN THE LAST SHOT. Oh, oh, oh! John/Aeryn is the loveliest of ships! More of them, please!
And peripherally, I don't know why this suddenly popped into my head while watching, but has anybody ever written a fic in which Buffy and Spike switch bodies? Because that would be pretty awesome.

And yes: the looks are just priceless. And then at the end when she says that about being in his pants and it takes him a second to figure it out, and then he gets this look on his face and jumps up to chase her.... *happy sigh* Words can't describe my love.
