I keep forgetting to do this, but the nice email asked would I please link to the Fang Fetish Awards at fangfetish , where they're having their latest round of awards.

Someone has kindly nominated Ministers of Grace for best gen fic--but I'm up against snickfic 's absolutely brilliant Seraph, so I don't think there's much of a chance of coming away with that one. ;)  Still, I was very, very pleased with that nomination in particular because it was the first time I'd really pushed myself outside of more Spuffy-dominated things (with a couple of good__evil  entry exceptions), and I was quite proud of how it turned out.  Dru's the best, isn't she?

Additionally, Scarlet and Midnight has been nominated for "Most Original," "Best Angst/Dark," and "Best Short."  My sincere thanks to whoever did the nomming--you're so kind!

Yay, congrats! Those are two of my favorites of your fics (except, I think more of your fics are my favorites than not, so that's not a terribly useful designation :p). And, yes, Dru's pretty fab. *points to default icon*

But man, the genfic category is tough this time! There's you, and the Faith&Buffy thing I was just reccing to you, and Persephone, which I haven't read yet but I've heard is huge fun, not to mention nwhepcat's latest WIP (Ozfic!) that has me on the edge of my seat - yeesh.

I think fangfetish is my favorite award, because despite the Spuffy focus for some parts, they pull in a variety of stuff for the other parts, and the quality seems to be pretty high. Plus I love the concept of the archive of winners.

Yeah, I feel the same way about the Fang Fetish awards. And I kind of would really like to win at least one category this time, not because I actually want to win (though that's always nice) but because if I get one more, I can archive all my stuff on their archive. It would be really, really nice to have all my stuff--not just the things that belong to a specific pairing--in one place outside of lj.

I know what you mean about having everything archived a second place. When I get time I think I'm going to put all mine up at the Buffy Fiction Archive, just because it seems like a no-muss, no-fuss sort of system. But I certainly wouldn't object to getting to put them all up at the Fang Fetish archive, too. :)

They're cracked. They're just not mean enough to tell you the honest truth. I have to say, I'm very dissapointed in all the attention yoru fics are getting. It shows lack of better judgement to people.
