"Women: You're leaky, hairy, overweight, and everything hurts!"
I'm feeling particularly feminist today (well, I feel that way every day, but especially today), and
ineffort reminded me of this spoof that is made of awesome.
Watch and enjoy.

And that article looks great--I'll check it out. I've been reading quite a bit about rape culture lately, and I'm always on the look-out for new stuff.

Very spot-on spoofs. Women constantly being told things are wrong with them and they need to fix it while men are already fine, they just need shit that sounds bad-ass to prove their machoness. Yay.

Because breaking the sound barrier is manly! And therefore awesome! And shaving is also manly! And therefore awesome! Duh!

I very much recommend Viruscomix/Subnormality, btw. I think you mentioned you don't read webcomics at some point (?), but this comic strip is delightful, insightful, overly-verbose and very openly feminist. I just wub it, yes I do.

I don't read webcomics on a regular basis, but when somebody links to a specific one, I check it out. It seems like a lot of people link me to xcdsomeother letter. There are letters! And one of them is x! And it's stick figures! That one.
Anyway, this particular one is genius. Thanks for the link--so spot-on. I'll have to remember to look at that one from time to time.

That was too awesome.
Hee. Maybe I'm biased because I like accents, and completley loath informmercials that aim specifically at women. Like men aren't zitty and wrinkly and overweight as well. Age is the ulatime diesease, you know.
Haha. I want a cabinet like that!
"Men are already brilliant."
Why does taht strike me as something Barney would say?
