Y'all, I just finished my epic. Well, not finished-finished, obviously, because there's still quite a bit of tweaking/editing to do before it's ready. But I wrote the last words of it just now!

It hasn't hit me yet, but I'm sure once it does I'll be curled up in the corner, shaking and crying.

It is! Though somehow with this one I never had the time to worry about that because I was working on it ALL THE TIME. I've always had that fear before, to such an extent that I rarely, rarely wrote things longer than a one-shot (even something like Ars Poetica I wrote all of before I posted it). It was so strange not having that fear hovering all the time. Now If I could just learn to apply this to original novels....

Congrats! I mean really it has been a great err...journey? Trying to think of a word that will encompass all the feelings we've been put through with your fic and journey is all I can come up with at the moment. I'll certainly be sad. Super sad. Already am sad just seeing the 26/28 on the chapter heading but I'm happy for you! You did it! You didn't give up and you got through it all.
