And you should definitely rec me which shows to start with! *hint hint* I'd love to unwind after work with some kdrama time. :)

OH OH OH I'M SO EXCITED!
I've thought about it, and I think you should start with either Coffee Prince or City Hunter. They're both very accessible (CH feels more Western, actually, than any other kdrama I've seen) and everyone I know who has seen either of them loves them. Either one would be a good choice, depending on what kind of mood you're in. CP is a straight-up romantic comedy with the added gender-bendy twist. It's got the best OTP, a delightful supporting cast, and is just easy and fun to watch. CH is more like BtVS in that it's got everything: there's a fantastic romance, yes, but it's got action sequences and psychological thriller elements and humor, too. It's got an AMAZING female lead and ridiculously high production values.
Basically, just pick which genre you're most in a mood for. And if you ever have any questions while watching them, let me know!
And you can watch both of them on either dramafever.com or hulu. YAY!
