IF YOUR PLOT REQUIRES PEOPLE TO ACT LIKE IDIOTS, THEN IT IS A BAD PLOT
This is my gripe, too. I wrote a whole ranty page long paragraph. If they wanted her turned, could it have at least made SENSE?
Also, we sacrificed logic for the sake of literary symmetry.
