madcap_shiny tagged me and I've just now gotten around to doing this one.

1. Do you like this character? Um...have you met me?
2. What names do you call this character? Interesting question. Spike, mostly. Occasionally William the Bloody or just William. In fic.
3. What colour do you associate with this character? Red and black and peroxide blond, of course.
4. What image/song do you associate with this character? Image? Too many for words. His bumpies melting away for the first time in "School Hard." The head tilts. Looking up at Buffy on the stairs. The tongue thing. That heartbreaking scene in the cave where he reaches out to touch Dawn's hair and then jerks back when she turns (reminds me of my favorite scene in Before Sunset, actually). Burning in the hellmouth.
As for songs, Nickel's "Stupid Thing" (almost frighteningly prophetic) and "Black, Black Heart" because I have a pretty awesome fanvid saved to my computer using that one.
5. What blood type do you think this character is? Hahaha! Blood type! Vampire! Irony!
6. Of all the titles this character has appeared in, what character do you like to put this character with? Again with the "Have you met me?" thing. Obviously Buffy. But I loved him with Dru, too, and I adore watching him interact with Angel and Dawn. I also have this secret place in my head (absolutely unsupported by canon, and I recognize this) where he and Cordy and he and Gunn are BFFS.
7. What would you want to say to this character? Marry me? Also, "I believe in you, Spike." Is that pathetic?
8. What do you want to do to this character? Dirty, dirty things. I also want to cuddle him, though. And occasionally smack him upside the head. Also, I want to write fic about him wherein he is either swimming in the angst or finally happy. What can I say? I'm versatile.
9. What's your favorite ever quote by this character? Are you kidding me? Everything out of his mouth is quotable! Maybe this one (he's always at his best when snarking with/at Angel):
