the most frustrating thing about not getting the channel Vampire Diaries is on and then going to bed before I can download and watch it is that it's always Friday night before I can see it, and by then I feel like I'm way late to the conversations, even though it's been like 24 hours since the episode aired.

Fandom is weird.

What I hate is as soon as the show airs on the East Coast, all the best scenes are giffed within five minutes so I'm spoiled by Tumblr before it even airs on the West Coast. Someone I know is on the East Coast was complaining about it last night, and I basically told her welcome to my world.

That's one reason I usually avoid Tumblr. I don't get TV channels and I don't download, so I depend on when it goes on Hulu, which is USUALLY the next day. And I hate spoilers. When I did go on, I was constantly seeing Castle spoilers, among other things.

Yeah, I don't download episodes and Fringe is on Fox, so I have to wait EIGHT DAYS to watch it :( This makes me isolated from the fandom because I HATE spoilers, so obviously I don't participate much. But the fandom is pretty small, so I just tell myself that not too much is going on. It SUCKS! Thanks a lot, Fox. Last year we were day after and that was cool.

By the way, currently watching s2 of TVD. I'm in the middle of the premiere.

I do not understand. These people could make their lives SO MUCH EASIER if they would just A) put the show up on their own websites shortly after they air--anywhere from IMMEDIATELY to a day would be acceptable) and B) make those websites accessible to people all over the world.

BOOM. I swear, file-sharing would go down. It really, really would.
