Y'all, apparently

womenlovefest is going to be coming back in March. And I am tempted to claim Molly Hooper. Like, really tempted. And write lots of fic including my newly-developed crossover fantasy with Doctor Who where Rory Williams is her younger half-brother and she hangs out with Amy. And maybe another crossover where she's a companion. And fic about her dumping Moriarty. And fic about her being the mastermind behind Moriarty.

This is a thing that I should do. Right?

Yes! There needs to be ALL THE MOLLY FIC. Seriously. I'm obsessed (after reading that one fic I recced on my journal) with Molly-as-Moriarty / working with Moriarty. Too bad I already read what I think is the ultimate version of that, but I'll happily read anything involving her that you decide to write!

I just have this mad love for her because she's so awesome and so overlooked and it's so easy to relate to her. Gah. So much love.

I haven't gotten around to reading the fic you've recced yet, but I am SO looking forward to it.

Tell me more about the crossover fantasy about her and Rory? Does Amy at any point meet Sherlock? Because I kind of vaguely ship that, in a "Amy having superior knowledge of alien reality and memory-streams and Sherlock huddling up crying because he cannot trust himself to deduct anything in a world even slightly different from our own" kind of let's-be-honest-this-is-totally-femdom-Amy/Eleven-fix-it way. (Also it's aesthetically valid.)

I'm wondering which Doctor's Companion Molly should be. Maybe Nine? I mean, sadly, all the Doctors are vaguely bullying, so, you know, bwzuh. Maybe an especially humble post-Amy-Rory Eleven?

Also, yesssssss, I love Molly-is-Moriarty stories SO MUCH. I totally believed it was canon after Scandal in Belgravia, but I'm not so sure any more.

Basically, YES YES YES to this:

I don't have a ton of backstory for this yet because it just popped into my head last night, but basically Molly's dad dies, mom remarries, Rory is her half-brother. They are very close and share a love of medicine and jokes about cadavers. Amy thinks Molly is badass in a similar way to Rory (she's right), and at first Molly is intimidated by Amy until she figures out that she adores her. Basically family times all around. River will probably show up. And yes, Amy should meet Sherlock and be totally unimpressed by him and he does end up crying and whimpering.

Maybe an especially humble post-Amy-Rory Eleven?

It's a little confusing--a few posts down from the top, on the banner sign up post, it seems like you can sign up to write as well. I don't know if it's frowned upon or not to sign up there... I can't really tell what's going on.

I don't know how anyone could hate Parker! I sort of doubt she's really all that hated, but there's a banner for her from last fest, so I nabbed her just so I could talk about how much I love her.

ETA: Upon further inspection, I think I jumped the gun.

I thought character signups were meshing in with the banner signups, but I don't think they are, at least not really. So, never mind.

But! I'm GOING to nab those 3 ladies as soon as I can!

Huh. Well, I think I'll wait till they make things clearer, then. Because it's a bit of a mess right now. Which of course is understandable--we're over a month away.

I'm going to spam the sort-of sign up page with questions about where to sign up. I think I want to do Buffy again (because I did such a crappy job stanning her last year), Dawnie, because tumblr makes me too aware of how much people hate her, and Bonnie Bennett, because I re-watched the first couple episodes of season 3 and I physically missed her. I feel kinda predictable for doing Buffy and Dawn?
