And yeah, the VM fandom days were overrun with me and basically three other people screaming OMG CASSSSSSSSSIDY. WE LOVE HIM. I remember those days with affection.
You're so right about Kyle. He's just so talented and he was so vulnerable in that role...there was no way not to love him.
And miss, if I hadn't met you last year I don't know what I would have done. Because yes, you > just about the rest of the world. AW! I know exactly how you feel. It was fate. ;)
Yeah, I've discovered since I've started writing in the Buffyverse that apparently I can't write Spike without writing Dawn, too. And Angel. Because I may 'ship the pretty boy with Buffy, but I'm maybe even more invested in his relationships with Dawn and Angel. Which is weird, but true.
I adore Fred, but the whole Wesley/Fred/Gunn thing was a little too much. Despite the fact that I adore all three actors in their own respects. I completely agree. Fred and Gunn were all cute and adorable at the beginning, then she broke up with him for the wrong reason. And then the love triangle that messed up that awesome but unexpected friendship between Wes and Gunn. And then Wes angsts over Fred for years and builds her up in his mind till (I'm convinced) he was in love with the idea of her and not her. And then they finally get together, get their moment of happiness, and Joss kills off Fred (which, admittedly, wasn't unexpected). But then everyone is like, "WES/FRED OTP," and I'm like, "Who cares?" Illyria was cooler.
Wow. That was long and rambly and pointless.
Yeah, Angel is a very underrated show. Definitely worth watching all the way through. Just a note, though: when things go all wonky in S4 and you think of giving up, just remember: S5 is the best season the show ever had.
It infuriates me that the only pairing I care about on Heroes will never, ever happen. But I'm so glad you're making with the Adam/Elle love. It makes me endlessly happy.
