And I don't know! I'm nearing the end of Season 2 now, and I realized that I've seen most of the episodes, but I'm making myself watch them because I know I haven't seen past the S2 finale. And I'm remembering what I loved about it. And also enjoying the gorgeous.
Especially since it's equally applicable to Dollhouse (can'twait!) So true! But I don't let myself think about Dollhouse often because I get too worked up and then I'll never be able to wait.
Yeah, I didn't really like Kara when I was just watching episodes here and there. But I'm really beginning to warm to her.
It really is smart. Sometimes a bit big on the histronics and it could sometimes use more humor (though Baltar supplies that admirably, most of the time), but I really do just love it to death.
I never mind you asking anything. And I've been good. A bit weighted down with class work that I should have done in London, but I went to museums instead. But now that's mostly out of the way, so I've been doing a lot of nothing, which is wonderful, and trying not to think about the fact that this is my last year of college and I actually have to make life decisions this year and decide what I'm going to do with my life. But yeah, pretty good.
I remember you talking about ages and ages ago and I hadn't caught on just yet since it was still this abstract thing Joss might do, but NOW? I can't handle the wait or the glee from watching the three second trailer every other day.
It does toe that line, but yes, Gauis is always good for the odd laugh or three.
The museums were more important. And I bet you'll do great, though I can most definitely relate to wanting to avoid the big life altering choices. Lucky for me, I'll be here for a while. Doing nothing is a wonderful thing to be able to do. I'm glad you're making the most of it.
I'm pretty good! Work keeps me too busy to think and/or breathe, but good nonetheless. I can't wait for the fall though. I miss spare time.
I can't handle the wait or the glee from watching the three second trailer every other day. I KNOW!
Gaius is so sleazy, it's fabulous. But I do love the angst, so it's easy to forgive the seriousness.
Museums are always more important.
Lucky for me, I'll be here for a while. I'm glad for you. You'll have to enjoy it for me when I join the Real Serious Adult World.
Work keeps me too busy to think and/or breathe, but good nonetheless. I'm so glad you're enjoying it, though. But yes, fall is worth looking forward, too. I hope you have lots of enjoyable spare time. And fall also means TV, too!
When I think of it, I think of you and your love for it.
My TV is going to be so sad when it goes off air forever I always come to fandoms too late. By the time I love them, they're about to go off the air. Same thing happened with Veronica Mars. And many other shows.
I'm really good, otherwise. Nothing exciting is happening, which after the crazy wonderfulness that was London is probably a good thing. I'm just lazing around and finishing up some school work and trying not to think about how motivated I'm going to have to make myself be when classes start up. How're you?
Although Doctor Who is a *very* close second, and sometimes ties, BSG is my favourite show. However, at least with s4 being the last season, the writers picked this season--there may have been some pressure, with slightly lower ratings, and such, but BSG has always had an ending, and they're pretty much there, so I can respect them finishing it off while it's still strong. Even if it makes me sad :((
However wonderful vacations are, it's always nice to come home and actually relax from it all. I am...same old, same old, generally. I'm visiting relatives and my best friend in Edmonton for the week, which is great, but otherwise I'm just working and dreading/hoping for the new semester. Anything for a break from cashiering :P

Even if it makes me sad :(( I also really respect that, them knowing where they're going. It's great to know that they aren't just going to let it go on and on, but that they had one specific story to tell and that they're going to stop when it's finished. That's the way TV should work: the writers get just the right amount of time to tell the story they want to tell. All too often things either languish on and on forever and ruin everything we loved about a show or they get canceled much too soon. I have a feeling I'm going to be heartbroken when it's over, but at least I'll know that's the way it's meant to be.
I hope you had a great visit with your bf/family. Anything for a break from cashiering :P I can imagine. When do your classes start again?
My classes start...September 2nd, I think? So in a week and a half--I have orientation next week bright and early at 8, which should be a fun start to the new semester :P What about you?
Oh, Battlestar. Bless it. I've forgotten too. I've watched seasons one and two and wow. Wow! But then I got sidetracked, waylaid, hopelessly engaged by Adult Serious Things, and then when I thought "Okay, it's time to watch something now", I'd forgotten there is Battlestar.
Oh course, what I did sell my soul to was Doctor Who, so I ain't complaining, but I'll redirect my attention to Battlestar as soon as I finish S4 (the end of August, at the rate I'm going). Do you like Doctor Who?
Actually, in retrospect, don't you hate Doctor Who? Or did I dream that? It's okay if you do, I think I could be rational about that. Possibly. Hopefully.
... Yeah, I'm fangirling a television series. Aren't you proud? I'm proud. Like, FINALLY.
But then I got sidetracked, waylaid, hopelessly engaged by Adult Serious Things Don't you hate when that happens. So inconvenient, real life stealing away TV time. ;)
Honestly, I haven't seen Doctor Who. But I've been told by multiple people that I would absolutely love it. So it's next on my list after Battlestar. I'm pretty insanely excited about it. And now that I know you love it, too, I'm sure I'll look forward to it even more.

Aww, Kara. I love that scene/shot/everything about it. And I think I need to go back and do the same. It's such a smart little hour of television.
(How have you been, in general, if you don't mind me asking?)
