1. I love Dawn Summers. And Riley, while not a great character by any stretch of the imagination, was completely necessary to Buffy's character development. She was so desperate for a normal life that for her not to try (too hard) to make it work with a normal guy would be completely unrealistic. I will willingly admit that Season 2, 3, and 5 are the best in the show, but it is individual scenes from Season 6 and 7 that I rewatch over and over again.
