Can y'all prompt me some Buffy/Spike or Ron/Hermione, please? I kinda wanna write some fic (and those are the two pairings that are living in my brain for the moment, the latter for very obvious reasons, the former because it never really leaves) but it's been a while and the well is dry, I am telling you. I'd prefer S7 and on for B/S (including comics-canon) though if you have an excellent earlier scenario that's cool. R/Hr anytime.
Note: I'm not going to write most of these. I just want some ideas to see if I can get the ball rolling. And when I say prompts, I'm mostly requesting, like, scenarios or situations, not really single lines from songs or something. I might actually TRY TO WRITE PLOT THIS TIME GASP DIE OF SHOCK.

+ Spike and Buffy are forced to communicate in a unique way. Maybe in the opposite way that they usually do? Like Buffy and Spike keep passing along messages through Dawn. And Dawn, a la the game telephone, keeps creatively altering them in order to get the romance going. (Although does that seem too close to Love & Blackmail?). I'm imagining it post-Season 8.
+ Buffy and Spike are together and they're coaching a kids' sports team a la Mighty Ducks community service in reparations for damage to public property done while slaying. (I don't even know!) Only then one other team in the league loses its coach so Spike volunteers and suddenly it's Buffy vs. Spike's teams in the championship. And let me tell you, this makes for a not-so-friendly environment around the house. These two are getting COMPETITIVE. And the kids are adorable, of course!
+ Buffy, Spike, Dawn, and Xander get drunk and play rock band. Buffy gets googly-eyed when Spike shows off his vocals. Buffy's on drums, naturally, since they're like stakes and she's a pro.

The second prompt is my favorite actually. If you don't use it, I might steal it back.
I'm now imagining Buffy getting into a fight with the ref. (I'm thinking basketball...)

(I don't understand the rules with basketball in terms of fouls, it never makes sense to me, so I figure Buffy would be confused, too.)

I would even love #2 with them not ~together~ but cohabitating in some way (say, sharing Dawn's couch after Spike was deposed by his bug minions)--so the competition sort of builds the sexy tension. And there can be fouls called over stealing the remote and such.
I'm envisioning a full-length motion picture based on this.

THIS. I was always annoyed that JKR just shot straight to the happily ever after there. Um, these two are a tad wacky and screwed up? I imagine it would take a while for them to get their shit together.

Hermione and Ron, looking for secret ways to get in and out of the castle, stumble into an unknown room at Hogwarts and get stuck together in a time loop a la Groundhog Day or Life Serial. They can't seem to spell their way out, so they'll have to put their heads together and figure out what to do.
Newlyweds Ron and Hermione decide to invite both their families to their little flat for Christmas dinner. Cue hilarity.
Speaking of weddings, what was Hr/R's like?
While traveling with Harry in DH, Hermione decides to keep a diary. Her entries take the form of letters to a certain someone.

(Just mention it's kinda-sorta-not-really-bashfic in the header? That way nobody has to get steamrolled by the unpleasant feeling of favourite characters behaving badly, and there shan't be unnecessary wank, and your noble mission to keep fandom a happy feelgood place (one which I admire and kinda share) will remain untainted.)

For Ron and Hermione, I would love all the social revolutions. Hermione's Home for Discarded Dragons. Ronald Weasley, friend of the elves. Maybe their marriage getting used for publicising mixed marriages, not entirely with their consent. In fact, dealing with the publicness of their romance in general. Possibly eloping at some point. (Do you think they'd take Harry with them if they eloped?)
